Configuration Software provides simple configuration of device parameters and settings for use during setup and commissioning phases. Third party configuration is included using FDT/DTM technology to embed third party Device Type Managers on Omron's Frame applications.

Programming
Programming Software is used during the development phase and instructs intellegent devices to perform your desired behaviour. PLCs, Motion, HMI and Vision controllers all require programming before use. Sequential and event based programming can use open technologies like IEC 61131 languages and minismise programming time by reusing system symbols.

Runtime
Visualisation software is used to display and interact with the user at time of operation. Control and supervision can use open PC based technologies including the OPC Data Access for interaction with third parties.
