This course aims to provide Engineers working in motion control with a strong background of application related skills when integrating Omron mechatronic products. It is recommended that candidates have an understanding of programming in a structured high level language.
Requirements: Introduction to Drives (ID1).

Introduction to Motion Perfect:
- Connecting to the MC402
- Project and file management
- Working off-line
Basic construction:
- Programming structure
- Standard BASIC programming operations
Simple linear motion:
- Interpolation
- Data storage and maths functions
- Software gearboxes and cams
Advanced concepts:
- Print registration
- Using vitual axis
Multi-tasking:
- Why use multi-tasking?
- Communicating between tasks
