E3X-DA-S high functionality fiber amplifier

With the development of a new light coupling and emitting technology, the new E3X-DA-S fiber amplifier generation allows a turning and removal and re-insertion of the fibers without influencing the detection stability.

The improved light coupling also allows a much more accurate and stable differentiation of two light levels. It is now no problem to detect transparent bottles, vials or ampulls, then fill or coat them and check afterwards if the process was successful. This works reliably even in high speed production lines where fast as well as long term signal level variations appear.

The new amplifier generation also combines the functionality of several special models like the automatic threshold control (ATC). The ATC ensures stable operation in dusty environments long after conventional models go into error mode. “But with the emitted LED power increased by 400% in this generation, we already ensure maximum stability against dust, condensation or misalignment.”, adds Lucian Dold. “The new E3X-DA-S generation is again a nice example of our continuous improvement processes to work with our customers to make it easier for them to offer machines with the best possible equipment efficiency.”
